Interactive Communication Game “The Hotel Where Fairy Tales Ended”

Kassel is a city that feels more like a fairy tale than reality. Even everyday fashion here seems to have stepped out of the pages of the Brothers Grimm: women walk the streets with Snow White–black hair, while men wear green hats with feathers, like hunters from ancient stories. People come to this city to rest their souls and breathe in a little magic.

That is why such a diverse group of guests has gathered here: fashion model Schiffer with her bodyguard Wulf, biathlete Hartmann, businesswoman Weise, fruit seller Schwarz, pharmacist Krieger, maid Schöne, fairy-tale collector Erzähler, music producer Silver with his wife, and the adventurer Neumann. Each has their own story. Each has their own secrets.


And their paths all lead to a very special place — the hotel “The Good Fairy Tale”, known throughout the world. A night here comes at a high price, for the hotel is home to real, untamed magic. Not the kind displayed in museums or trick shows, but true, unpredictable, and sometimes dangerous. To some it brings fortune; to others, trials.

The hotel manager, Rumpel — a little too smiling, a little too attentive — welcomes the guests and shows them a hall lined with cabinets containing artifacts from well-known fairy tales: a glass slipper, silver bullets, crystal spheres, mirrors, and wild objects from the stories of Little Red Riding Hood and Snow White.
Only one cabinet remains locked.


“This one must not be opened,” Rumpel warns. “It is a gateway to another world. You call it the fairy-tale world.”

And to prove his words, Rumpel whispers a short formula — and the cabinet instantly turns to ice.

This very moment becomes the beginning of a startling game, in which communication, intuition, cooperation, and negotiation skills matter more than any magical artifact. For moments later, a bloody, ominous message appears on the stairs:
“The time to pay has come. The heart has little time left to beat.”

As dinner begins, the atmosphere grows ever darker — Wulf finds a heart in his soup. And outside, in the snow, lies the fashion model Schiffer, covered in her own blood.


And then Rumpel’s voice is heard:
“Well then, my guests. Fairy tales are over. Let the game begin.”

Participants become co-authors of this story. They must communicate, uncover truths and lies, form alliances, or guard against manipulation. The fairy-tale world is only beautiful on the surface — beneath it lie complex patterns and the true motivations of people.

Whether the guests will manage to solve the mystery and restore a happy ending to the fairy tale will be determined entirely by their communication and ability to cooperate.
